Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Aspire: Challenge: TYPE

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes.

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. What is climate? Write the following definition into your book: Climate is the weather over a long period of time.

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. How has the Earth's average surface temperature changed in the last 1000 years?

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Total emissions of CO 2 from fossil fuel burning

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes.

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9ob9 WdbXx0

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. GSCE Style Question: Looking at the two graphs next to each other, describe the link between them. Use evidence in your answer. (4 Marks)

The global temperature increases over time (1), and so does the amount of CO2 (1). For example, in about 1910, the global temperature was roughly -0.8 degrees (1) compared to the year 2000 when it reached almost 1 degree above the average (1). CO2 has increased from 300 parts per million in 1920 (1) to nearly 380 parts per million in 2000 (1). In this 20 year period it has increased by 80 parts per million (1) which is almost a quarter of what it was in 1980.(1) Both CO2 and temperature rise quickly at the some time. (1)

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. With your face partner, you have 2 minutes to decide on any extra evidence you might need to decide on whether global warming is caused by people.

Homo Sapiens Industrialisation

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Watch the video clip…. Using the information complete a table to explain the human and natural causes of climate change

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Carbon dioxide, methane and other air pollutants (Nitrous oxide, Ozone, Halocarbons etc.) are collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up. What gases cause global warming?

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Solar Energy Reflected by the atmosphere into space. Solar energy heats Earth. Earth radiates heat. GREENHOUSE GASES Heat is retained by greenhouse gases and warms the atmosphere- Global Warming Heat lost to space

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Global Warming Causes Negative Impacts Solutions Positive Impacts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwlOFBYeHs8 Pupils complete table.

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. GREENHOUSE GASES Deforestation means less Carbon Dioxide is taken in, some trees are burnt releasing Carbon Dioxide. Farming rice and cattle releases methane. Greenhouse gases increase. More heat is trapped, warming the Earth. Burning fossil fuels releases Carbon Dioxide.

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. What can we do to stop global warming?

Aspire: Challenge: Examine and use evidence to justify whether the causes of climate change are caused by humans or natural factors. Explain how the Earths climate has changed and catagorise the causes into human causes and natural causes. Homework:
