One file per lesson Compile and upload the lessons in the given e-learning platform specific form (SCORM) Upload the core educational material in a printer friendly form (PDF) Prepare the additional educational material (assignments, quizzes etc.) Upload auxiliary files (spreadsheets, videos, etc.) Keep the educational material invisible until the scheduled week

University of Bucharest Best practice tips for tutors (1) Focus on one lesson per week At the beginning of each week Mark the current lesson Make the lesson visible and notify students (announcements). Give some tips and advices. Activate the assignment/quiz and set the start and expiration dates Add a new discussion topic in the forum concerning the lesson or the assignment Update the calendar and schedule forthcoming events (e.g. chats, assignment deadlines)

University of Bucharest Best practice tips for tutors (2) During the week Check the forum discussions for feedback, give additional info and make some comments Update the educational material or the module/lesson area if necessary Answer to specific questions with e-mail or message By the end of the week Check the statistics and reports (e.g. self assessment performance, activities) Leave individual messages (e.g. comment on the students performance, give advice) Occasionally Review and grade the submitted assignments Chat with students at a predefined date and time
