2 Taking a Report n Listen carefully n Initiate a prompt inquiry n Contact the Manager of Human Resources n Follow up with n Postal Inspection Service (physical contact, assault, threats) n Labor Relations n Document your actions

3 Listen Carefully n Determine if there is a need to separate persons n Assess the situation n Are other employees being harassed n Was there physical contact or threats

4 Initiate an Inquiry Conduct interviews Target of harassment Witnesses Alleged harasser Remind all parties of EAP services Emphasize and respect confidentiality

5 Contact Human Resources Manager n Provide notes from interviews n Explain actions taken n Human Resources Manager will determine if the Sexual Harassment Investigations Team will conduct fact finding and submit a report n Female and male team members n Not representing facility from which incident was reported
