1. Quicktime, Windows Media, VLC To control media playback speeds

2. Quicktime

3. Open media Window --> Show AV controls

4. Quicktime Playback speed is in the bottom right of the AV control

5. VLC

6. Open media Make sure View - -> Status Bar is on Click the 1.00x at bottom

7. VLC Double clicking the 1.00x gives you a slider to adjust playback speed

8. Windows Media Player

9. Open media. (You may first need to hit Control-M to reveal the File-Open menu) Now Playing - Enhancements - Play Speed Settings

10. Windows Media Player Slider at bottom left lets you control playback
