2. Introduction Africa The capital of Egypt is Cairo

3. Food People ate lots of different food

4. Homes Rich homes were very posh they had pillars and fish ponds in the garden. Poor homes were made out of mud bricks

5. Jobs Pharaohs Vizier Artist and crafts people Farmers Tomb builders Servants and slaves

6. Women and clothes Rich women wore makeup and they had servants Clothes were made out of linen

8. Gods and Goddesses We have looked at all different gods and goddesses here are just a few.

9. Isis and Osiris Isis Osiris Osiris and Isis were husband and wife Seth their brother was very jealous He killed Osiris and cut him into 14 pieces

10. Mummification Body got wrapped up 15 layers. It took 20 days They used linen bandages and clothes The inside organs got removed except for the heart

11. Weighing of the heart Is it lighter than the feather ? Will you be eaten by the devourer? Have you been good or bad?

14. We built pyramids like the Egyptians using sugar cubes, but we didn’t eat them!! Even Bobby had a go.

15. We had to guess what was inside each box We were a bit scared !! There was gooey guts horrid hair, squidgy eyes and broken bones

16. We played pin the collar on the pharaoh, it was quite hard to get it in the right place.

17. Callum got mummified He even got his brain, lungs, liver and intestines taken out and put in canopic jars

18. This is the weighing of the heart ceremony poor Callum doesn’t have much left inside him !!!!

19. We had a go at mummifying each other.

20. We made egyptian sweets made pyramids and even did Egyptian dancing

21. We all had a fantastic day
