2. My school. I would like to tell you about my school. It is situated in the village Baranovo. It is new and big. It’s building is new. In our school we learn a lot of new information about the world.We have six lessons every day.School is the wonderful place where we can meet our friends and know a lot of interesting things about the world.My school is not far from my home. It takes me ten minutes to get to the school by foot. If you ask me,I will say that my school is the best and I Iike it very much.

3. My mother Her name is Svetlana. My mother was born on 13 of March 1976. My mother works in a boarding-school. She is 32 years old. My mother has two children. She likes cooking, she can cook well. Her hobby is reading and knitting. She likes listen to music. My mother has many friends.

4. Russian Traditional Festival People in Russia celebrate Easter,Christmas and New Year too but they have their own special Traditions. One of them is Maslenitza ( Shrovetide ). Russian people celebrate it at the end of winter or in the first month of spring.For some people it is a religious tradition. This is the last week before lent.People celebrate it for a week. This is a very happy time for those who love pancakes because they are the traditional food of “Maslenitza week”. On “Maslenitza Sanday” people go out. They walk in the parks and squares, dance and sing songs, they have fires and sometimes burn straw figures of winter. They eat hot pancakes, drink hot tea in the streets of their towns and cities. Children love this holiday very much.

5. New Year’s Day The beginning of a new year is a time for celebrating and for making a new start. It is a New Year’s Day. People wish each other “Happy New Year “ and send special greeting cards.On New Year’s Eve (December 31 st ) many people go to parties with their families and friends.I like this holiday very much.
