10. Moon Phases as viewed from Earth Activity **You will work in groups of two and take turns wearing and using the moon board.**  Student #1- Put your head through the hole in the moon board. You will start facing the sun.  Observe what the moon looks like from Earth and describe it to your partner. Your partner will show you different phases of the moon cards and you will decide which look most like what you are seeing.  The partner will then place the card for the phase on the black construction paper in the correct location.  You will then turn the board to the left (counterclockwise) to view the next moon.  Follow the same steps for each of the moons on the moon board.  Once all of the phases have been observed, take the moon board off and have your partner try. Keep your moon cards where they are and flip them over. You will compare answers with your partner once they have finished.  Repeat procedure for the second partner.
