Connecting People to Build Inclusive Urban Climate Change Resilience ACCCRN NICHE A network establishing a community of practice accessing resources to build UCCR, platforms for regional and international advocacy, capacity building and shared learning, and opportunities for funding. Our target market is practitioners and other UCCR supporters and institutions across South and Southeast Asia. We anticipate at least 2,500 people connecting through ACCCRN over the next 2 years. Connecting People to Build Inclusive Urban Climate Change Resilience ACCCRN OVERVIEW Lessons that ACCCRN builds on: Resilience efforts must build a long-term future different from current trajectories increasing inequality gaps. Ask what “resilience” is for, who benefits and by what authority. Resilience “projects without processes” may make inequality worse. Technical issues are relatively easy. Governance is the core of transformational resilience and is hard.
