4. Pray For Restoration To be where God wants us to be – 2 Cor. 5:18- 19 Notice how David worded this – vs. 10-12 More than forgiveness of the current transgression Long for the joy of salvation – Acts 8:36-39

5. Resolve to Offer Grateful Service As did David – vs. 13-15 This is true repentance, showing fruit Leading to salvation – 2 Cor. 7:9-11 Think of how little our words mean when we do nothing to back them up! – 1 John 3:16-18

6. Conclusion Confession is not regulated or overseen by man; it is between the individual and God, a necessary step for repentance and righteousness. Do not neglect it!
