3. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OCEANOGRAPHY Thatta Sonmiani Gwadar ESTABLISHMENT Established under resolution No. F. 5(10)/82-ST. V/NIO dated 20 May 1982 as an autonomous body. Later, in May 2007, an Act (Act III of 2007) for establishment of NIO was passed by the Parliament. 20. Oceanographic Research Library The Library of National Institute of Oceanography Pakistan, dedicated to the founder of the institutes Dr. G. S. Qureshi (late) and it was established in 1981. The NIO Library provide the facility to the researchers and students of marine sciences and scientists to get information through printed materials related to ocean science.

Lake of System Controler R/Humidity Temperature. Lake of shelves for proper placing of books. Lake of equipment, such as Photocopier, Scanner, Digital Camera.
