2. Project Summary Golf Event Money award will be given to the winners Goal: Our goal is to raise money for St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital so that they can find a cure for pediatric cancer and place emphasis on the tragedy of pediatric cancer in our state. Funding Request: $402.89

6. The Problem Childhood Cancer is more prominent in Daviess County, compared to the national and state average. We want to help St. Jude’s research for a cure and decrease the averages, nation wise and county wise, by raising money for the research hospital.

7. Project Description Objective 1: Advertise Golf Event – Anyone that wants to play Objective 2: Hold the Golf Event – Estimated 45 players – 60 players maximum – One day event Objective 3: Donate all proceeds to St Jude’s – Estimated $1000 donation – Possibly over $1500

8. Project Description Target Audience Anyone capable of playing golf Attract teams by advertising at the golf course via LSA students At least high-school aged participants Estimated participation of 45 players, but the more players the better. The more players we have the more money we raise

10. Event $65 fee for entry (includes cart fee) Pays for an 18-hole round LSA students will go around selling drinks *Out of $65 fee, $20 will be put forth for donations

11. Students Responsibilities -All LSA students will find one person that will participate in the event -LSA students will sell beverages on the golf course for $2 a piece.
