O Stem and Leaf Plot- Ages mostly ranged from 40-60 years old Displays a good amount of information Only a few tens numbers, but there was a lot of different numbers in the ones place

O Youngest (Minimum)- John F. Kennedy, 43 years, 236 days O Oldest (Maximum)- Ronald Reagan, 69 years, 349 days O Range- 26 years, 113 days O Median- 54 years, 11 months between Herbert Hoover (22 nd youngest) and Lyndon B. Johnson (23 rd ) O Mode- 51 and 55 O Mean- About 56 years old O Most popular- George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt

O John F. Kennedy (youngest)- his father, Joseph P. Kennedy, was a very wealthy man. In fact, he had so much money, he gave each of his nine kids a million dollars! O Ronald Reagan (oldest)- in his early life, he worked for Warner Brothers Studio acting in movies!

O Herbert Hoover (one part of the median)- mined in China before presidency, and learned Chinese so well that he and his wife spoke it in the White House so that they wouldn’t be eavesdropped on! O Lyndon B. Johnson (other part of median)- was the first president ever to be sworn in by a woman, only because America needed a president once John F. Kennedy was assassinated, and he was the Vice President

O George Washington (one of the popular ones)- the myth about George cutting his father’s cherry tree down is not actually real, Parson Mason Weems made it up to go along with his book in 1800. He was 57 years old when sworn into office. O Abraham Lincoln (another popular one)- as a child, one of his favorite books happened to be Parson Weems’ Mythological Biography about George Washington

O Franklin D. Roosevelt (a popular president)- Theodore Roosevelt was his fifth cousin, and he had followed Franklin’s footsteps to the presidency O Dwight Eisenhower (my 6 th grade assessment topic)- was nicknamed “Ike” as a mean to shorten Eisenhower O Barack Obama (our current president now)- was the 6 th youngest president ever, at 47 years
