History IRA Bomb Warrington 20th March 1993 Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace established in 1995 Peace Centre opened in 2000 ‘Founded by victims to support others affected by conflict to build peace.’

Who we work with We work nationally and internationally with: – Victims and survivors of acts of terrorism and other politically motivated violence – Former combatants – Young people including those divided by faith or racial prejudice – Institutions and communities affected by local or global conflict

Membership includes: Foundation for Peace Survivors of Terrorism ACPO Western Health & Social Care Trust Victim Support Cruse Bereavement Care Emergency Planning Society Assist Trauma Care MOD DCMS Centre for Trauma, Resilience and Growth Local Government Association SAMM UK Combat Stress ‘An experienced body proactively advocating for the improved delivery of medium to long term assistance to those affected by critical incidents.’

How we meet needs Meeting needs that aren’t usually specifically provided for: Context Recognition & Acknowledgement Encourage people to take a positive approach Complementary/feeds in to statutory and voluntary sector support Refer on where we cannot meet need Work in partnership with other organisations
