Get your resume in the hands of as many hiring managers as possible. Do hiring managers read all of the resumes they receive? – NO! They only read the ones that pass a ten second glance. What’s the 10 second glance? – If it’s too long, too wordy, too cluttered, or has not sizzle – they toss it! What do you mean by sizzle? – In business, sizzle is all about the accomplishments. Accomplishments show that you are the kind of person who can learn the job quickly and get things done. It says, “Hey boss, you should talk to this one.” Do I really need a resume? – YES!
