3 Observation(1/2):  The first document is created with Microsoft Word software and it’s suitable to be printed on paper. +

4 Observation(2/2):  The second document is created with a presentation software and it contains animations, so it’s used for projects and reserchs to present to the public. +

5 1.Definition of a presentation software: Activity 2: Search for the defintion in the internet. Presentation Software is a software that allows you to create an attractive multimedia document. +

11 3. Creating and Saving a presentation: Activity 5: Create a new power point presentation and save it to your directory, To Create a New Presentation:  Click the File tab,  Click New. Or,  Press Ctrl + N. +

12 To save a presentation  Click the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar, or  press Ctrl + S. To Save a Presentation with a  Different Name: Click the File tab,  Click Save As, enter a new name for the presentation, and click Save. + +

13 4.Adding slides  To Insert a New Slide: Click the Home tab  Click New Slide in the Slides group, or  Press Ctrl + M. +

14 5.Layout To Change the Slide Layout:  Click the Home tab,  Click the Layout button in the Slides group, and select a layout. +

19 a.Textbox  On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Text Box.  Click in the presentation, and then drag to draw the text box the size that you want.  To add text, click inside the box and type or your paste text. +

20 b.Picture To Insert a Picture:  Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon,  Click the Picture button in the Images group.  Find the picture you want to insert  Click Insert. +

21 c.Smart art To Insert SmartArt:  Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon  Click the SmartArt button in the Illustrations group.  Select the SmartArt you want to insert and click OK. +

22 d.Table  On the Insert tab, select Table.  In the Insert Table dialog box, do one of the following: o Use the mouse to select the number of rows and columns that you want. o Select Insert Table, and then enter a number in the Number of columns and Number of rows lists. +

23 e.Links Definition: A highlighted word or picture in a document or Web page that you can click on with a computer mouse to go to another place in the same or a different document or Web page + +

24  In Normal view, select the text, shape, or picture that you want to use as a hyperlink.  On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Hyperlink. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box, under Link to, click Place in This Document.

25 Do one of the following:  To link to a slide in the current presentation, under Select a place in this document, click the slide that represents the hyperlink destination.  To link to a custom show (a select group of slides) in the current presentation, under Select a place in this document, under Custom Shows, click the custom show that represents the hyperlink destination. Then, select the Show and return check box.

26 f.Lists To Create a Bulleted or Numbered List:  Select the paragraphs you want to bullet or number  Click the Bullets or Numbering button in the Paragraph group on the Home tab. +

27 g.Drawings and shapes(1/2) To Draw a Shape:  Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon,  click the Shapes button in the Illustrations group,  and select the shape you want to insert.  Then, click where you want to draw the shape and drag until the shape reaches the desired size.  Hold down the Shift key while you drag to draw a perfectly proportioned shape or straight line. +

28 g.Drawings and shapes(2/2)  Select the shapes to merge.  On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Merge Shapes, and then pick the option you want. +

30 9.Transitions To Add a Slide Transition:  Navigate to the slide you want to add a transition to.  Click the Transitions tab on the Ribbon,  Click the More button  Select a transition effect. +

31 10.Animations(1/2) To Add an Animation Effect to an Object:  Select the object that you want to animate,  click the Animations tab on the Ribbon.  Click the More button in the Animation group, and select an animation effect. +

32 10.Animations(2/2) To Copy Animation Effects from One Object to Another:  Select the object with the animation effect you want to copy,  click the Animations tab on the Ribbon, and click the Animation Painter button in the Advanced Animation group.  Then, click the object you want to apply the copied animation effect to. +

33 11.Convert to pdf  Click the File tab.  Click Save As,  Choose a location and folder.  In the File Name box, enter a name for the file,  In the Save as type list, click PDF (*.pdf).  Click Save. +

34 12.Printing To Preview and Print a presentation:  Click the File tab and click Print, or  Press Ctrl + P. +
