Line Infographics often use lines to guide the reader’s eye in a desired direction as in the one presented for its used as a time line. In the perfume packaging design calligraphic lines were used to represent the way the perfume was inspired by this written art and help the customer better understand what is presented to them.

Shape Shape was used in both of these advertisements and logos to demonstrate the organic design of the product. Using soft edges, and in the bottom picture the natural form of the birds, an organic effect was achieved in representation.
4
Color Color was used in this graphic portrait to help display the humanity of the otherwise geometric and static design. Color was used in this digital collage to display not only the vintage feel to it, but to also create a sort of grotesqueness achieved with the pale yellows and sickly browns.
5
Contrast Contrast was created in the book covers by the vibrant and saturated colors against the pure black backgrounds lading the eye to all that is important while resting it at the same time. In the album design contrast was achieved through two different cool tones, the deeper blues and the pale whites of the lead singer and the accents upon the man’s robes.
6
Texture Here the foil design on the business card creates a jewel like appearance and one that conjures up images of diamonds and precious metals. In this magazine cover many of the edges are blurred around the girl to give a soft and ethereal texture especially in her hair.
7
Space In both album covers space is given to relax the eye from the intricate design. But upon the left cover a cold and white space is used to create an airy and open feel while the one to the right is given a dark background that though is open space gives a feeling of consignment.

Size The Lady Of The Lake has an interesting take on size for the title of the book is in fact dwarfed by the intricate design surrounding it. But, the fact that it is given space in the middle and it otherwise simplistic makes the smaller size logical and gives a comforting feel. The titles of what happens in each stage are enlarged as to grab the attention of the informer and the human body is quite large to display that it is in fact what the infographic is about.
9
Repetition The repetition of stars in the background and the stylized ones in her hair give a link between the two settings making it seem less abstract. The continuation of the same shape and design of the boxes helps keep the product uniform but the color creates the difference between flavors of tea.

Value Value of the comic book logo makes the otherwise static appearance more dynamic with the gradient drawing the viewers’ eyes downwards. This typography design is given a more realistic effect with the amount of value that is added to the background and shapes. Allowing the look of a lightbulb to stand out with the value of its light.
