2. The ICC International Coordinating Committee of National Human Rights Institutions = the international network of all national human rights institutions, a forum for cooperation, coordination and mutual support for NHRIs around the globe. The ICC is a membership-based organization.

3. The ICC Criteria for membership are established by the internationally recognized UN principles relating to the status and functioning of NHRIs, commonly known as the Paris Principles. Categories of membership/accreditation: A, B and C status. Approximately 100 national institutions worldwide; 62 members of the ICC
