10. The first 2 days… School for all children begins on Wednesday 17 th August 2016 between 9:00am – 3:15pm P1 children should arrive between 9:05am and 9:15am and enter by the P1 door. Parents & Carers may bring their children into school and settle them into class. Photographs/video clips of your own child may be taken. Staff from our Early Years Class, WK Early Years Centre and a few other Partner Nurseries will be with us. Children will have a morning break and lunchtime – both supervised by staff. Parents may collect their child any time between 2:30pm – 3:15pm. Parents, please enter by the main office door. Parents should ‘sign their children out’ of the class before leaving the building.

11. After the first 2 days…. From Friday 19 August children should be ready to enter the building when the bell rings at 9:00am. Parents should eventually stand at the edges of the playground and allow their child to enter school independently. Children will be dismissed at 3:15pm and should be collected by a parent or carer in the playground (please stand at the far edges of the playground). Class teachers will not allow children to leave the building until they see that a parent or carer is waiting for the child.
