Definitions Infant– a child who can’t walk or talk. (less than 2 years old) Toddler– a child who is learning to walk. (about 2 years old) Preschooler– a child who is 3-5 years old. Day Care- A center that looks after children. Child Abuse– hurting a child (physical, verbal, emotional, or neglect.)
