Imagine that you have been completely alone for a long time and all authority has been absent in your life for several months. You have been successful in taking care of yourself, having a place to stay, making good grades, etc. Suddenly an authority wants to become involved in your life and tell you when to get up, what to buy, etc. but they will also provide a home and protection for you. 1. What is your reaction to this involvement? Explain.

Results of Salutary Neglect Britain left the colonies alone to govern themselves. They flourished and became more self sufficient. It led them to a feeling of individuality that they feared losing.
