WHY THIS MEETING? To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the rights of the child and to make the restitution from the different point of views of the African children on their rights (CRC) To organise our general meeting, in order to analyze the evolution of our Movement during the last three years. To strengthen the relationship between the AMWCY and our partners

WHAT WE WILL DO CONCRETELY IN COTONOU Making the assessment Making the assessment ON THE EVOLUTION OF OUR RIGHTS (CRC AND 12 RIGHTS) « follow up questionnaire on our rights» ON OUR ACTIONS TOWARDS THE FIGHT AGAINST THE EARLY EXODUS, CHILD TRAFFICKING AND VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN” ON OUR INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITES (IGA) OF OUR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION ON THE EVOLUTION OF OUR ORGANIZATION/COORDINATIONS INCLUDING THE PARTICIPATION OF THE CHILDREN ON OUR TECHNICAL SUPPORT ON TRAINING TO REINFORCE OUR CAPACITIES ON THE MOBILIZATION OF RESOURCES (COLLABORATION/PARTNERSHIP)

WHAT WE WILL DO CONCRETELY IN COTONOU WHAT WE WILL DO CONCRETELY IN COTONOU We will also work on our invitations and participation in big meetings: For example the social forum, on Speak Africa and the Cairo etc

Capacity Reinforcement of the participants During the meeting, we will be trained in the following techniques listening Internet and data processing Management (study of the market and self evaluation criticisims on IGA) Showing of projects and national plans

Also look further on our knowledge in the field On HIV/AIDS On environmental protection

Prospects for the coming years The Movement developing everywhere in Africa and taking into consideration our lessons and challenges met during the last three years hence leading us to:-: work out a new program on capacity reinforcement make important decisions for the future.

In cotonou We will also: –Make sure that we are known better by the population, authorities and institutions –speak about our rights to the parents, authorities, children and youth –Exihibit and sell our products

How it will be done? Prepare and present activity reports by country on the results of our actions on the progress of our 12 rights, Income Generating Activites(IGA), training sessions,communication, advocacy and lobbying. These presentations by country will be followed by debates. Make a summary of the achievements and to identify the difficulties. Make a summary of the achievements and to identify the difficulties. To organize group work on each topic of decision making for the future.

What we would like to attain as results progress on our rights, increase on IGA (income generating activities) plus public knowledge of our organization and coordinations. The reinforcement of the experience of the grassroot groups and the WCY in their associations towards the consolidation of their rights. Increase the collaboration and partnership between organizations and institutions so that coalitions are developed. Our proposals and decision of actions are listened to and taken into account in the policies of countries. With whom to work with? the authorities of Benin partners,child lead organisations, international institutions, NGOs, our support strutures and the population the media friends of the movement
