Key Revisions to bylaws Codifying our current executive committee composition: The officers of this PTA shall be a president, an executive vice president, a first vice president, a second vice president, a vice president for membership, a recording secretary, a corresponding secretary, a treasurer, two delegates of the Montgomery County Council of PTAs, and two delegates to the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Cluster (the Cluster). Codifying our current responsibilities of certain executive committee officers, such as one VP focuses on fundraising and the other VP focuses on outreach and engagement activities, including outreach to diverse and non-English speaking families. And, clarifying role of corresponding secretary to include administrative functions (supporting scheduling of facilities)

Key Revisions to bylaws Codifying function of the MCCPTA and BCC cluster reps Clarifying roles of executive committee versus PTA board of directors (standing committee chairs included in board of directors) Change “special meetings” of the general membership notice requirement from 5 days to 2 days Change quorum from 10 to 5 members
