What is satire? What are the subjects of satire? A rhetorical, moral art that uses humor or wit to attack vice or folly

What are the subjects of satire? Subjects include: hypocrisy; corrupt politicians; corrupt institutional practices; vices such as laziness, pride, vanity, envy, gluttony; tyranny Satire fails when the subject is weak, suffering, innocent, or misfortunate

What is the purpose of satire? To reform or help others from falling into similar folly or vice by persuading the audience that something is reprehensible or ridiculous.
