Colleges will look at ACT and SAT score. Tests are very different. › Aptitude vs. Achievement › Some do better on one over the other Everyone will have to ACT plus writing because it is Day 1 of MME › This is an official ACT test. MME is a graduation requirement. Colleges like to see all scores › Compare your sub scores

A good plan is to have a list of 3-6 schools that you are interested in attending Reach schools Good matches Safety schools You need to know where you want to apply by September next year. Questions to ask yourself. › 1. What three things do you like about your high school? (things you want to keep) › 2. What three things about my high school do I never want to see again? (within reason) › 3. What three clubs, programs or classes should your high school offer that aren’t offered › 4. What three parts of your hometown do I like and well-not like? › What three things would you like to do that you haven’t done before? Bottom line: What qualities are you looking for in school
