SCWI Funding and Reporting The release of the 2014-15 allocations will be conditional upon the submission and approval of SMART Goals, the Interim Report, and the year- end student data and expenditures reports as well as the signed CODE - SCWI Financial Certificate verifying end-of-year calculations. RPTs should retain complete records and receipts for seven years to confirm the amounts reported. Each year, two RPTs will undergo an external audit on the use and administration of SCWI funds. 3

6 Apprentices with Disabilities Support for Apprentices with Disabilities (SAWD) is intended to assist Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAATs) to support people with special needs to participate in apprenticeship programs, preapprenticeship programs and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Programs (OYAP). SAWD is to be used for accommodation and accessibility needs of apprentices with disabilities attending colleges across Ontario. http://www.tcu.gov.on.ca/eng/general/accessibility/tcu/ 6

7 Apprentices with Disabilities SAWD improves access for apprentices with disabilities by ensuring they receive individualized services and have access to tools and technologies such as: interpreters and note-takers; and transcription of educational materials.
