Youth Program Overview 19 th year managing Alternative Education (Alt Ed) Program 6 Accredited Schools - Bend, La Pine, Lakeview, Prineville, Redmond, and Deschutes Co. Juvenile Corrections Average Enrollment 300, with over 800 students served per year There are 65 smaller school districts in Oregon! 21 FTE – 1 Administrator, 14 teachers, 5 employment counselors Strong partnership with Central and South Central Oregon school districts

Youth Program COIC Alternative High School program: Serve At-Risk Students who have struggled in traditional settings Credit Recovery leading to HS diploma GED Basic Skills enhancement Essential Skills Extensive diagnostic assessments

Youth Program COIC Outcomes – 2014-15 School Year: 831 number of youth served during program year 2014-2015 698 high school credits earned 70 GEDs 49 HS Diplomas 14 Students participated in work experience at private work sites 68 Students participated in COIC youth crew work experience program 36 Students participated in summer work experience program
