3.  London the capital city of GREAT BRITIN, is the largest city in Europe.It has a population of about 8.300.000.It stands near the mouth of the river Thames.London is a very old city.London has three distinct parts:the City of London, the west End and the East End.

5. THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT ARE SITUATED THERE. IT IS THE SEAT OF THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT. THE BUILDINGS OF THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL. AND HAS TWO TOWERS.

9. THE CATHEDRAL  That replaced it was designed and built by Christopher Wren, one of the most outstanding English architects. It was competed in 1710. Inside the Cathedral we can see monuments of many generals and admirals. Nelson among others was buried there.

11. WESTMINESTER  Where kings and queens are crowned, is opposite the Houses of Parliament. It dates back to the eleventh century. Many famous people were buried in the Abbey, among tham Dickens, Darwin, Newton and many poets.
