2 Overview Ohio Revised Code (“ORC”) Section 3333.01 creates a Board of Regents to oversee statewide higher education policy. The chancellor of the Board of Regents is appointed by the governor under ORC Section 3333.03(A). The appointment is for a term of five years, as provided by 3333.03(B).
