In this presentation, you have been told that; Vincent van Gogh was born in the Netherlands in 1853 He painted with dark earth colours during his early years as an artist Vincent moved to Paris in 1886 and began to paint with light colours He moved to Arles in south of France in 1888 He came to a psychiatric clinic in Saint-Remy and stayed there until May 1890 Mental illness and deep loneliness made him shot himself in July the same year He is known for his self-portraits, sunflowers and landscapes and has inspired many other artists Vincent only sold one painting during his life, but today they are worth millions
