If your toddler (18 months – 3 years) becomes “very active” before fellowship break, parents may care for them in the toddler nursery. An ADULT must stay with the child.

Psalm 23 The L ORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the L ORD forever.

So, brothers and sisters, because of God’s mercies, I encourage you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God. This is your appropriate priestly service. Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is— what is good and pleasing and mature. - CEB

Discernment: Is not just a brain thing.

 It’s a heart thing.  It’s a body thing.  It’s an imagination thing. Discernment:

Love God, and do as you please. ~ St. Augustine

“… because of God’s mercies,” “The human heart changes when it is broken by love.” ~ Rowan Williams

“present your bodies as living sacrifices” What we do with our bodies, regularly, impacts what goes on in our minds and what happens in our hearts. What we do with our bodies = “habits”

“present your bodies as living sacrifices” “Living sacrifices” = repentance Matthew 4:17

What about decision making and the will of God? Three Rules: 1.“Love God and do as you please.” – St. Augustine “Love God and do as you please.” 1.Seek counsel and advice – question askers 2.Bounce back from bad decisions
