2 MOVIE POSTER DIRECTIONS For your group, the poster must have:  illustrations (no stick figures) that relate to the court case and must be COLORED!!  names of the people involved in the case and location (include organizations) and actors who will portray them in the movie  a summary of the case in 3 sentences to explain key points of the movie  the immediate and long term effects of the court case in bullet form somewhere on poster  Release date of the film (use court case date) Example: “Cecil Gaines was a sharecropper’s son who grew up in the 1920s as a domestic servant for the white family who casually destroyed his. Eventually striking out on his own, Cecil becomes a hotel valet of such efficiency and discreteness that he becomes a butler in the White House, itself. There, Cecil would serve numerous U.S. Presidents over the decades as a passive witness of history with the American Civil Rights Movement gaining momentum even as his family has troubles of its own. As his wife, Gloria, struggles with her addictions, and his defiant eldest son, Louis, strives for a just world, Cecil must decide whether he should take action in his own way.”

6 MOVIE TRAILER DIRECTIONS  Write in paragraph form on the directions sheet  Write and present as if it were being said in an actual movie trailer that is over your assigned court case  Have each person in group recite a part of the movie trailer  Be sure to have all of the following covered in the movie trailer paragraph: key people involved, summary of events leading to and part of court case and its importance as well as the date.
