What Project Online isn’t

Although Project Online does allow web based schedule management, if you are managing large complex projects then Project Pro for Office 365 may be more suitable – it is a subscription based version of Project Professional 2013 You can either use Project Pro for Office 365 with Project Online for central storage of your schedules, or with SharePoint to share your schedules as task lists – or it could even be used standalone as you might use Microsoft Project today

What Project Online isn’t Do not use Project Online for managing large project  Use Project Pro for Office 365 instead Do not use Project Online for task lists  Use SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online to publish Task Lists

Now I know what it is – how do I sign up!

If you have an Enterprise E3 level of Office 365 - SharePoint Online then you can add Project Online Office365 Admin Center – Purchase Services https://portal.microsoftonline.com/Commerce/Catalog.aspx https://portal.microsoftonline.com/Commerce/Catalog.aspx
