2 Introduction Mexico is the third-largest country in Latin America, and the second in population. Mexico City is one of the most largest cities of the world. Many Mexican’s cities are organized around plazas. Mexico is a federal republic. Its president is Enrique Pena Nieto.

3 Mexican Culture The Mexican culture reveals both European and Native American influences. Mexican artists and writers have created many national treasures. Diego Rivera and his wife Frida Kahlo became well- known for their paintings. The Mexican people made a historic movie about Frida Kahlo ‘s life starring by Salma Hayek.

5 The North It has large stretches of land that is too dry and rocky to farm. The cities in this area include Monterrey, Tijuana, and Ciudad Juarez. Maquiladoras are a source of job for many people in this area.
