FY16 Street Paving Performance Agreement Priority: Develop and begin implementing a plan, with budget estimates, to significantly increase the level of improvements made to the City’s roadways. The plan should demonstrate the projected effect on the City’s Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and be structured to couple properly timed preventive maintenance with full-scale street rehabilitation. The plan should provide estimates of the optimum investments needed over time to sustain an acceptable citywide PCI distribution.

FY16 Permitting Performance Agreement Priority: Ensure DOTE permit operations are working effectively with the Permit Center to ensure a streamlined process from the perspective of the customer. Closely track and monitor permit approval turnaround times.

Barricade Permits: work with Buildings to check for additional requirements Police: coordinate before permitting lane closures in right-of- way New Driveway Permits: These permits are sent to a Buildings Plan Examiner to verify zoning compliance. MSD/GCWW Permits: Permits for departmental work in the right-of-way. Building Permits: Review necessary to identify whether DOTE permits or Revocable Street Privileges are needed.

January: DOTE sends out renewal forms to companies currently holding licenses (also available on DOTE website) Contractor/Licensee: responsible for returning all forms with appropriate payment DOTE registers forms upon receipt DOTE sends bond form to Law for approval Once Law approves & all other necessary steps completed, DOTE finishes processing license an sends contractor/licensee notice of approval.
