3. My name is Camille Diaz I was born in the town of Aibonito in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and obtained a Ba.Ed. Later I obtained a pre-med certification at the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico. I also participated in an exchange program where I had the opportunity of attending the University of Seville in Spain. Once I graduated from college I gave classes in the grade levels of elementary, middle, and high school all in four years. I worked both for the public school system and the private sector.

4. I relocated to Massachusetts in 2013, where I still am. My current job position is Home Visitor for the WCAC Early Head Start Program in Central Massachusetts. Even though I am no longer teaching inside a classroom I am providing families with the support and necessary knowledge so that parents can become the teachers of their own children at home.

5. 6. Assessment for me is a way in which individuals can learn what they already know and what they can accomplish if they put a little effort. Usually an individual can assess himself through a self evaluation or let someone assess him/her through formative and/or summative assessments that can be standardized or individualized depending of what the individual or group wants to obtain from the assessment. By using assessment in a classroom both the teacher and students can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the student or himself.
