The RNF is non-political, non-profit making organisation created to promote awareness and provide support for recycling, reusing and reducing initiatives;

The RNF provides a platform for: o Creating visibility and awareness on the importance of the 3 R’s. o The promotion and coordination of projects and events relating to the 3R’s. o Fostering cooperation and interaction between stakeholders. o Sharing of relevant information amongst stakeholders. o Educational training on the 3 R’s – with a special focus on encouraging recycling at youth level. The RNF represents the industry in dialogue with governmental bodies on environmental matters which may affect its members; Collects data and keeps a central database with statistics on recycling / waste management; Finds ways and means to implement recycling initiatives.

5 The leading non-profit Forum coordinating Recycling Initiatives in Namibia Address: 76/78 Frans Indongo Street | PO Box: 32419, Windhoek, Namibia | Tel: +264 61 238919 | Email: coordinator@rnf.com.na Reuse | Reduce | Recycle WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU The RNF can assist those with the common goal of reducing re-using and recycling to: o Facilitate networking opportunities; o Provide support services; o Assist with administrative issues such as tender applications, etc. o Assist with education, i.e. training in recycling / waste management; o Promote / inform of cleaner /more environmentally friendly practices; o Visibility and marketing via RNF social media. o Inclusion and branding in various RNF activities.

An active membership drive to get all stakeholders involved in the 3 R’s on board is currently in progress, to ensure a larger networking platform, thus creating better opportunities for all concerned, and the country specifically. This greatly contributes to creating awareness of the 3 R’s in Namibia. Their input and support is invaluable and much appreciated.

8 The leading non-profit Forum coordinating Recycling Initiatives in Namibia Address: 76/78 Frans Indongo Street | PO Box: 32419, Windhoek, Namibia | Tel: +264 61 238919 | Email: coordinator@rnf.com.na Reuse | Reduce | Recycle WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN To speak in a unified voice on environmental issues that may affect Namibia as a country and the stakeholders individually; To create a platform for the exchange of information, knowledge and skills related to waste management and connected sustainable environmental practices; and thereby increase own business opportunities; To join and support projects and events that will promote the 3 R’s of recycling, reusing and reducing, thus making a tangible difference to minimising the impact on Namibia and its resources To support and create employment opportunities, either by way of “green jobs” or guiding upcoming SME’s to make a sustainable contribution to upholding the 3 R’s For visible association to the RNF as proof of your commitment to sustainable projects and products; Have access to database and resources related to waste management and recycling; Because it’s the right things to do to ensure your children and their children enjoy the beauty of a clean Namibia.

Should a member join throughout the year, a pro rata fee is payable up to December. Please note that membership fees are adjusted annually. CATEGORYEMPLOYEES / REVENUE FULL MEMBERSHIP FEE (excluding VAT) VOTES 1. SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) Max 20 employees Annual revenue not exceeding N$100 000 N$500,000 2.SMALL BUSINESS No minimum but maximum 50 employees; Revenue exceeding N$100 000 but less than N$1 billion N$12 500,001 3.MEDIUM BUSINESS No minimum but not exceeding 250 employees; Revenue of more than N$1 billion, but less than N$2 billion N$25 500,002 4.LARGE BUSINESS No minimum or maximum employees; Revenue exceeding N$2 billion N$35 000,003 5.ASSOCIATE MEMBERS Associate Members select the fee category they wish to contribute to the RNF which they pay for in kind. In kind contributions Admin Fee of N$1 500 * 0 6. HONORARY MEMBERS Honorary Members make available their expertise & contacts to the RNF free of charge. 0 7. STRATEGIC PARTNERSStrategic Partners make available their expertise & contacts to the RNF free of charge. 0 * Excludes educational and charitable organisations
