Western part of the North Atlantic Ocean The triangle's three vertices are in: Miami, Florida peninsula San Juan, Puerto Rico mid-Atlantic island of Bermuda Bermuda Triangle

3 Planes & Ships The most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world.
Ships cross through it daily. Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly travel between Florida and the islands. Heavily flown route for commercial and private aircraft. Bermuda Triangle

4 News 1950: On September 17th unusual disappearances occurred for the first time. 1952: “Fate” magazine published a short article by George X. 1962: Article by author Allan W. Eckert was published where he expanded about the supernatural phenomenon of the triangle. Bermuda Triangle
