2. 2 Discussion For elderly care we need more camera surveillance. Standard surveillance cameras are cheaper, more easy to maintain and will be accepted faster then `social robots’.

3. 3 Discussion The iCat Workshop is useful for my work and should be repeated every year and be organized by different community members. To stimulate further research on iCat we need a competition, similar to the model used by Robocup. The iCat brings together technical and human-factors research, needed for breakthroughs in the adaptive human-robot interaction. Speech technology lacks the maturity for adequate elderly-iCat communication and professional applications in the next 5 years
