This is what the photograph shows: It is a view of a ride called the Chutes (or the Big Splash) at "White City" (later called Lakeside Amusement Park), Lakeside, Colorado, near Denver in about 1908. There is a large crowd of people gathered and watching the water ride. We see the edge of a Ferris wheel, other rides, a penny arcade, a large line by the ticket gazebo, and wooden frame residences behind boundary of the amusement park.

Clearly, people have enjoyed going to amusement parks for many years. Think about a place that you have enjoyed going to. You will write a four to five paragraph essay about your trip. You will describe where you went and why you had fun there.
