APPEARANCE- BODY Lemmings look like fat Hamsters. Thick fur helps them keep warm. Claws are strong for digging.

HABITAT- WHERE? Lemmings live in Northern Canada in buros.

FOOD Lemmings eat moss, plants, berries, lichens and seeds.

LIFECYCLE- REPRODUCTION Female Lemmings can have up to 8 babies every five weeks.

OTHER INTERESTING FACTS Lemmings feet grow bigger in winter and get smaller in summer Lemmings migrate when food is hard to find. Lemmings are fast runners and good swimmers.
