3 After School Help Official office hours: Mondays 2 – 3 p.m. (Calc specific day) Wednesday: 2 - 3 p.m. (open to all) Thursdays: 2 - 3 p.m. (open to all)

4 12 retakes for the entire year. You may retake quizzes or tests. You may not retake AP practice tests. Must complete error analysis packet unless otherwise told. I must sign the original test before you may retake a test. All assignments must be complete before retake. If you do not turn in an assignment by the 7 th school day, you will not be allowed to retake an assessment. The dates for the retake assessment will be stated on the day the test or quiz is handed back. You may not take a retake assessment if you miss the original test! I will give you a blank test if requested. Retakes

7 AP Practice Exam: Saturdays in the spring. If you come to two practice exams, you will earn a 100% on a test for the 4 th quarter. If you do not take the test, the AP mock exam will count as two test grades. Saturday Sessions

8 What will students learn in Calculus AB? Limits and continuity Derivatives Applications of Derivatives: optimization, related rates, linearization Area under curves through approximation and integration Integration methods Applications of integration: Area and Volume of solids of revolution

9 What will students learn in Calculus BC? Additional topics include: L’Hopital’s Rule for finding limits Euler’s Method/Newton’s Method of finding roots Sequences and Series Taylor/Maclauren series Intervals on convergence/divergence Polar/Parametric/Vector Functions Deriving and integrating
