PreCalclus 4-5 Graphs of Sine and Cosine Functions

Trigonometric Graphs - Activity Use the unit circle (paper plate) that was saved from the unit circle lesson. Wrap a piece of yarn around the circle, and mark each of the main values on the yarn with a marker.

Trigonometric Graphs - Activity Put a straight line across two pieces of paper, and transfer the radian measures from the piece of yarn Label each mark appropriately

Trigonometric Graphs - Activity Break pieces of spaghetti to the length of the y value (sine) for each graph marking. Glue these pieces onto your paper at the appropriate locations Be sure to show the third and fourth quadrants as negative.

Trigonometric Graphs - Activity With another piece of yarn, or a marker, connect all the tops of the spaghetti with a smooth line. Let the glue dry
