Canada is situated on the north of Northern America, washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the east, the Pacific Ocean in the west, and the Arctic Ocean in the north and in the northeast.

Canada has a diverse climate. The climate varies from temperate on the west coast of British Columbia to a subarctic climate in the north. Average winter temperature is 30 degrees below zero in the north and 4 degrees below zero in the south. Average summer temperature is 10 degrees below zero and 23 degrees above zero in the south. Extreme northern Canada can have snow year round with a Polar climate.

The largest rivers of Canada are the Mackenzie River, the Yukon River and the Saint Lawrence River. The main biomes of Canada are tundra, boreal forest, mixed forest, broadleaf forest, prairies, rocky mountains and temperate coniferous forests. In Canada grow different oaks, pines, cedars, firs and live Canada Goose, Eastern moose, North American beaver and other animals.
