6. Differentiated Small Guided Reading Groups With Teacher Student will receive differentiated instruction in reading according to his/her lexile level. Lessons will be based on student needs in reading comprehension, phonics, or grammar skills. This will also be the time for student to meet with the teacher to make sure he is making progress with personalized learning plan.

8. Independent Stations Library Station Student to read various genres, and books about rain forest animals. Writing Station Student will have daily journal writing and an opportunity to write a report about a rain forest animal of his/her choice. Art/Project Station Student will collaborate with other pupils while working on interactive projects such as animal presentation boards and/or dioramas of the rain forest.
