Entrepreneurship education to be accessible to all students ( not only Business studies) and taught from an early age Entrepreneurship should be inherent and integrated in all subjects and taught by real entrepreneurs Recognition of the value of entrepreneurial attitude (positive image of entrepreneurs) How to get more Entrepreneurs?

12 ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY Austrian chambers of commerce 1. Childrens‘ Business week Approximately 50 businessmen and women from diverse industries are invited and convey their visions and ideas to the children (workshops, business meetings or seminars) If required, a team of teachers supports the invited guest speakers in drawing up presentations or workshop concepts. In this project, successful corporate role models are presented to young Austrians. The contact made with prominent figures in the business community broadens the horizons of the children so that they are given a chance to understand entrepreneurship as a concrete opportunity. 5.700 children have participated so far.

Entrepreneur´s Skills Certificate Policy background: Member States should integrate entrepreneurship in all school's curricula Status quo in Austria: So far, entrepreneurship education is anchored comprehensively only in the curricula of colleges of business administration and of business schools. need for action in other schools, especially in schools with largest deficit : the compulsory schools and general secondary academic schools. The Entrepreneurship´s Skills Certificate allows to provide more school children with a high quality entrepreneurial education and a positive attitude towards the economy and encourages a fundamental entrepreneurial attitude among young people.

Unlike similar schemes, these courses also provide an explanation of the links between business and macroeconomics.... based on voluntary participation commitment and motivation among learners and teachers... leads to the awarding of a certificate additional asset for young job seekers... educated in modules and transferable
