Updates to EEO plan FY09/10 Statistics Workforce Analysis Overall decrease of 22 employees (N=463) Overall employee diversity, essentially the same, from 33.4% to 33.9% Applicant pools 28 recruitments (3,436 applicants) Overall diversity of pools increased slightly from 35.3% to 36.8%

FY09-10 Analysis Area of greatest focus/concern: increasing the diversity of associate faculty Diversity at 19.6% What is being done? Demographic overview provided to deans, department chairs & discipline experts Revision of hiring processes (greater involvement of deans) Outreach/Recruitment
