(BOL Document) - Shipper / 3PL bill of lading noting the NMFC, Dimensions LxWxH, Weight of the shipment by commodity shipped, PCF. (Example) - Carrier drivers are noting dimensions on the pickup BOL, hand notation on the BOL or Pro sticker for each pallet. - Carriers are installing Dimensionalizers in the Transfer stations, forklift have scales to verify weight per pallet. Pro, dimensions, and weight are radioed sent to a cue for billing at the pickup location, terminal and/or checked at the Transfer station for accuracy. Picture is taken, dimensions and weight are verified, email is sent to the payer as to discrepancies. - Most NMFC's are dimensional based, and carriers are verifying NMFC's, dimensions, weight for added revenue $$$$$.
