When TWO verbs work together
To say ONE action
By ONE subject,
…conjugate the first one, leave the second one alone

4. Side note:
When you have a list, every part of the list is in the same form, (the form that would be right if it were the only word in the list). This is called “parallel structure” and applies to English, too.
Examples:
Prefiero hablar, viajar y comer.
Yo practico, juego y miro fútbol americano.

Some require a particle
