2. Hi everyone. I am originally from Pleasanton, California though currently live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am active duty with the US Army, therefore I move every couple years.

3. I NTERESTS Besides school, I enjoy almost anything active including: sports, hiking, scuba diving, snorkeling, working out, CrossFit, biking, swimming, running, triathlons, skiing, and dancing. Other hobbies are going to the movies, playing card/board/dice games, scrapbooking, organizing, and relaxing with family and friends.

4. E DUCATION I love school and learning new things. It was an obvious decision to complete my masters after I completed my bachelors, it just took some time to start it. My job requires lots of travel so I try and plan my classes when I will be in the states; hence why this is just my second class this year. Not only does school keep my brain active, it also helps with promotions in the military. I would have to say Mr. Silva was my favorite teacher. He was down to earth, never got mad, and took the time to really explain tasks to his students; a teacher that every student could tell he was teaching because he loved students and not just because it was a job. Not only was he a teacher, he was also the varsity football coach and later became the school Dean. My least favorite teacher was my Spanish 1 professor in high school. I cannot even remember her name that is how much I disliked her. She also taught Spanish 3, those were her favorite students. Spanish was her first language and she always made reference to how great her Spanish 3 students were and how it would take a lot of work for her Spanish 1 students to speak like them. There was an opportunity for an exchange student program, though she would only select Spanish 3 students to participate. She treated our class like we were beneath her and not worth her time since we would never speak Spanish as well as her other students.

5. F OOD Having to decide only one food to eat at dinner time is difficult. As much as I enjoy artichoke and asparagus, I think I would get bored of eating it every day. Whereas, chicken is still lean and can be made so many different ways. So, if I had to choose only one item, it would have to be chicken. 6. M Y F AMILY My family is very important to me. We are all real close and enjoy taking vacations many times each year.
