2. 1 Dec 2009Silvia Resconi2 First MET experience with real data Avaibility of data: –easy access to ESD/AOD data of beam splash and first collisions –fast replication of data on all Tier1’s and Tier2’s –easy retrieval using Grid Data Managment Tools (DQ2)  FIRST SUCCESS ! Jet/MET D3PD centralized production: –Stored on JetEtMiss group-disk –Produced running METPerformance together with a first set of plots –Both for data and for physics events MC (already done for 900 GeV MinBias) and for cosmics MC Possibility to rerun METperformance on D3PD to re-set scales, binning, etc. to produce final plots.  see talk by Jet Event cleaning: –Most of the cleaning quantities used in cosmics studies are available in METPerformance package –METGoodness aims to provide cleaning selection against events with cosmics, fake MET due to mismeasurements of jets/muons, to assess the quality of EtMiss in the event. –Very crucial issue to be tested carefully, can start with real data applying basic criteria against cosmics, including timing criteria.  see talk by Max
